The festivities included a traditional boardgame ("Yut") tournament, with an underdog victory at the end. We also dressed up in traditional formal wear called "hanbok", and even learned the proper korean bow. We ended our time by learning how to make hand-made dumplings ("mandu") and eating them along with the traditional New Year dish, "ttuk gook".
