This Sunday, June
5th at 3pm, the English Ministry of PCL will be hosting its annual summer
picnic. This year, we will go on a picnic outing to nearby Jamsil Park to enjoy
what we hope will be a beautiful day, wonderful food, and just good fun. We would
like to invite all of you to this event. You don't even have to bring anything,
just bring yourself!
We will be
leaving the church around 3pm by bus, and we will return probably somewhere
around 6-7pm. You can also bring a friend. The English Ministry worships on the
first floor in side classroom #3. You will see big yellow signs advertising our
presence in the church. |

We had a great time at the Lunar New Year celebration. The festivities included a traditional boardgame ("Yut") tournament, with an underdog victory at the end. We also dressed up in traditional formal wear called "hanbok", and even learned the proper korean bow. We ended our time by learning how to make hand-made dumplings ("mandu") and eating them along with the traditional New Year dish, "ttuk gook".
Thanks everyone for coming out, and thank you especially to those who helped out by setting up, teaching and taking pictures. Se he bok man hee bad eu se yo!!!
